Thank you to Sis. Kara Schofield, Sis. Sheri Lloyd and our amazing Activity Committee and Board for putting on a very memorable VT Conference in October. I can only imagine all of the hard work and planning that went into the program.
In case you couldn't be there, or if you were there to refresh your memory, here are a few pictures from the evening. We arrived to the cultural hall being decorated to represent Kansas - in black and white with very simple decor.

We had a "name wall" with a nametag for EVERY sister (this was before our ward split - so there were 192 name tags). This gave us a visual idea of how many sisters are in the ward and how easy it might be for someone to be missed/lost. Just a reminder of how important a visiting teacher can be!

As dinner was winding down we showed a cute visiting teaching video. Thank goodness for techno savvy husbands who can set up all that audio visual equipement!
After that the sisters were off to follow the yellow brick road to OZ. Along the way they attended three 15 minute presentations on "How to Visit Teach with 1. Heart 2. Mind & 3. Courage."

Whilst the sisters were attending the mini classes our organizers made a quick change to the decor of the cultural hall - making it more colorful and OZ-like. When the sisters arrived in OZ we served dessert.

While eating dessert, we had closing remarks by our Visiting Teaching Coordinator. It was an absolutely wonderful evening!
