*The Rest of the Story
In 2003-04, twenty-year-old Jinny was managing a Subway restaurant near the BYU Creamery in Provo, Utah, when Mick Davis came in to interview for an open position. Jinny wasn’t very impressed with his interview and did not recommend that he be hired. However, her boss decided to hire him anyway and he began working in January. Perhaps seeing his chance to build romance . . . excuse me, rapport with his new manager, Mick stayed late one day to help Jinny with her work. She agreed to a date on Valentine’s Day and by the end of the semester, they were engaged, and then married on July 31st. They celebrated eight wonderful years together this summer! In Her Own Words
