Today was our ward
conference and we were privileged to have President Platt teach the third hour
combined Relief Society /Priesthood
lesson. He spoke about the vision and focus for the Frisco Shawnee Trail Stake
which would be to become Zion. He quoted Moses 7:18- " And the Lord
called his people Zion, because they
were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there
was no poor among them." Some of the things he encouraged each member and
family to do were:
- Increase our faith in Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost by having consistently daily personal and family prayer.
- Increase our faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement by having daily scripture study
- Increase our faith in the restored truth and priesthood power and authority by expressing our testimonies to others.
