Thank you to Tina Scott for teaching our lesson on Sunday - "Making Our Homes A Refuge From the World." We discussed the importance of having our homes be a safe haven for our families, where they can enter and feel the peace, calm and love of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Our homes should also be a refuge for us!
What can we do to make our homes that loving, safe, comfortable place where we want to gather? Some things that will help us achieve this are 1. Praying as a family. 2. Have a Legacy of Love - speaking kind words to one another 3. Create a Legacy of Testimony - share testimony with our family and decorate with pictures of the Savior &/or temples. 4. Make our homes a Treasury of Learning - hold Family Home Evenings and teach our families those things that are truly important in life.
