The Facts

• She was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada.

• She is the youngest in her family and has one sister.
• She attended UNLV for two years, studying to become a radiology technician.
• She first met her husband while she was on a date with another man.*

• She has six awesome kids:

             Alicyn, age 20            

             Tatiana, age 17

             Joshua, age 15           

             Tanner, age 12           

             Jacob, age 9          

             Ashley, age 7
• She has been married to Lynn Woodrum for 21 years.
• She loves being a mother and has a real talent for keeping her family’s schedule
organized, getting everyone where they need to be, and keeping them all alive!

At the age of 19, Sandy was invited by a young man to attend an Institute group party as his date. It was he who introduced her to his friend Lynn Woodrum that evening. When Sandy excused herself to fetch her purse, Lynn told their friend that Sandy was cute and “If you don’t date her, I will!”

It was just a week later that Sandy and Lynn met again at a Young Single Adult dance and made plans for a formal date. The dinner-and-a-movie formula worked like a charm and the pair became good friends from the start. Sandy says that they dated for about three months, from April to June, before she knew that this was the Real Deal. They were engaged a few months later and were married in January 1991.

"Gymnastics or perhaps rhythmic gymnastics."

If you could live in any foreign country for two years, where would you go?

"I can’t think of one. I love America!"
