ALL IN
President Sheri Lloyd gave a beautiful presidency message this week. She began by sharing the Mormon message video, Our True Identity (follow the link above to view). Sheri shared how her thoughts about Relief Society since this past general conference have been stirring. As she has prayed and pondered for the right message, the theme ALL IN emerged. This is the theme she wants to carry throughout Relief Society this year. She hopes that each sister will be ALL IN...as a disciple of the Savior, as mothers, sisters, and women of God.
She reminded us that:
- WE ARE DAUGHTERS OF ALMIGHTY GOD
- HE HAS A PLAN FOR US
- THERE WILL BE ADVERSITY
- WE ARE NOT ALONE
Several sisters shared personal experiences and trials that they have faced. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland's words were shared: "In the Gospel of Jesus Christ you have help from both sides of the veil, and you must never forget that. When disappointment and discouragement strike - and they will - you remember and never forget that if our eyes could be opened we would see horses and chariots of fire as far as the eye can see riding at reckless speed to come to our protection. They will always be there, these armies of heaven, in defense of Abraham's seed."
"Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you."
