Liz Heath and family just closed on their house and are moving this week.
Janette Church shared that a fellow firefighter of her husband was hit by drunk driver and was paralyzed (around Christmastime). His colleagues began working his shifts so that he could continue receiving a paycheck. He is now feeding himself and can stand up and balance. The city has now said that they can't work for him anymore, but they have covered an entire year of his salary by pooling their vacation days! How awesome is that?
